Our multi-award winning team of peer support workers and volunteers come from all walks and stages of life. They have diverse lived experience pre and post Spinal Cord Injury (SCI). What they share in common is that they are all living active and purposeful lives in the community and have a shared passion to share their lived experiences to help others with SCI to frame positive expectations of life with SCI

David loves motorbikes, classic cars, racing, adventure sports and spending time with his partner and teenage son. he has been living with T4 spinal cord injury since 2008.

Dave Jacka

Dave is an adventurer who loves pushing personal boundaries, and achieving the seemingly impossible by problem solving, and "doing things differently". He loves travelling, flying planes, socialising, reading and movies. He has been living with C5/6 complete spinal cord injury since 1988.

Emma Booth

Emma is passionate about horses. Since her injury she's continued her passion for horses and equestrian sports and gone on to represent Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics.

Gary is married with a son and two young grandchildren. He's currently retired after having worked as a panel beater, insurance salesman and manager. He has been living with C4 incomplete spinal cord injury since 1960.
